QC Enrollment Exhibitors UPDATED 7.25

Quality Counts FAQ Updated 7.25

This is a reminder that Quality Counts verification is required for all major livestock show entries this year, including State Fair of Texas and Heart ‘O Texas Fair. This verification needs to be completed prior to livestock show entry. Therefore, if the student is only exhibiting at Spring majors, they can wait until closer to that entry period if needed. County and local shows may also require Quality Counts completion, so be sure to check show rules. There are some very important updates and reminders below that will affect the verification process for your exhibitors and their families, so please read carefully.

There are NEW ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS ATTACHED. These are different than the ones distributed last year, so please discard any previous instructions and use the new ones. You can always point exhibitors here for more info: https://texasyouthlivestock.com/quality-counts/.  These new instructions will not affect any exhibitors who have previously completed or are currently working on the curriculum/exam.

Please always use Mozilla FirefoxTM internet when completing the Quality Counts curriculum and exam. This program is best suited for our system and will ensure a smooth experience.

New this year, we have a helpdesk in place to help assist with any technical concerns regarding the Quality Counts curriculum site (this does not include anything onwww.texaslivestockvalidation.com). These folks are prepared to help with computer/system related problems, such as potential glitches in the course users may experience. They can also help with passwords and other login information. They can be reached here: learnonline@ag.tamu.edu.

Still, for questions related to content, scores and verification, please contact Dottie Goebel, dottie.goebel@ag.tamu.edu.

Exhibitors only need to be verified once as a Junior (grades 3-5), once as an Intermediate (grades 6-8), and once as a Senior (grades 9-12). Exhibitors do NOT have to complete the curriculum/exam every year.
